Retro Bambi

The papers used for this card are from an old range by K & Co but I still really like them. The little reindeer remind me of the Babycham deer ( I know showing my age now! ). The topper was again created by cutting up a 12x12 sheet and then using Spellbinders Wonky Squares to mat with. The card has been cut into a funky retro shape and finished with some ribbon and a charm.

Black & White Bauble

These cards are all quite simple really and that was the idea because we had 8 designs and 2 of each to make on the day, so we didn't need anything that was too complicated.
This one is also quite easy to replicate.
Squares of embossed and stamped white pearl card are gridded onto black velvet paper. The stamps are by Oak House Studio. The addition of die cut labels and a punched bauble and snowflakes complete this monochrome card.

Funky Baubles

I like to try and combine unusual colours sometimes and that is what I've done here. The paper is a really soft khaki colour and it has been embossed with a new 6x6 folder from Crafts Too, of a pine sprig. This has then been sanded to expose the white core of the paper and then glittered. I've teamed it with a strong purple card and used purple glitter film on the chippie bauble to complete.

Cheeky Little Robins

Very cute little robins on a clear stamp, simply coloured using watercolour pencils and lightly blended with a water brush. A stamped greeting, some pretty lace and a complimentary backing paper - quite quick really.

Funky Happy Christmas

This is quite a simple idea really but very effective. Mirri card and Dufex foiled card have been used for background layers with ribbon and a peel off border across the bottom. The focal point is a funky peel off message layered onto three different circles, using the blue as a strong contrast and the top one is again a Little B die. Then some blue frosted dots to finish it off. Easy to ring the changes here with a variety of colours.

Christmas Star

Here's another from our Christmas weekend
This time we have used one of the new Little B Dies. I love these dies and their unique little details and features. If you look closely at the star in the second image, you can see the imprinted, stitched detail it has.
So, here we have embossed the background with a pretty starry embossing folder, again teamed up with Kraft brown ( I love this card - can you tell? ).
The bauble paper across the middle and the three small stars along the bottom have all been covered with double sided adhesive and then glittered. Finished off with a pretty bow.

Jolly Santa

I love this jolly Santa - he's a proper Santa. These images were cut from a 12x12 sheet. The corner die is lovely and is from Crafts Too, this has been cut from a flocked 12x12 sheet and the same paper is used for the background to Santa. The text background is a Stampendous cling stamp and the fancy paper is again from Wild Rose studio. Again, using a Kraft brown card but this one is a little bit different and actually is a white core card, so can be sanded to expose the core.

Christmas in July Weekend.

Over the next couple of weeks, I thought I would share the samples from our Christmas in July weekend that we have just held.

We had a fabulous couple of days to celebrate the launch of Christmas -you need to start early if you are hoping to make all your own Christmas cards and gifts, so we wanted to give you a helping hand to do just that.

This first card features some of the gorgeous Wild Rose Studio printed toppers and papers, teamed up with Kraft brown cardstock. Then we've added a lovely twiddly holly die a poinsettia die and a seasonal message, a few little red gems - et voila!

Please pop back for more over the next few days.
